The public is invited to attend the Bethesda Children’s Home open house of it’s newly built school wing on Wednesday, August 24th beginning at noon. A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 1:00 p.m.
Bethesda has been working on this expansion project for the past 18 months and will open the doors of its new school wing in the fall of 2016.

Bethesda Children’s Home will hold its annual Scholarship Gala at the historic Riverside Inn in Cambridge Springs, PA on Friday, April 8, 2016. The semi-formal event will begin at 6:30 pm with a cocktail hour followed by a sit down dinner at 7:00 p.m. Entertainment for this year’s event will be provided by the TMG Big Band with vocalist Adam Brock, a semi finalist on American Idol.
All proceeds for this event will help provide scholarships to youth that have been in or are currently enrolled in one of Bethesda’s programs. Last year, Bethesda gave out four $500 scholarships to youth that were attending colleges, universities, or technical or trade school.
The evening will include a keynote address from retired Penncrest School District Superintendent, Connie Youngblood along with Francis Schultz, Crawford County District Attorney, as the Master of Ceremony for the evening. A live auction will be conducted by Kevin Wheeler auctioneer.
